In her first season (2022-2023), Nicole played as an Outside Hitter (OH) for a regional team. “I love this sport because it allows me to take my mind off things and let out all of my energy and emotion and put it into the game,” Nicole explains. “I enjoy practicing to get better and working hard to accomplish my goals. It feels rewarding and I take a lot of joy from playing the sport.”

At the end of her first season, she was named MVP in the Carolina Regional Volleyball Championship Tournament 12 East Division, a significant achievement for someone so new to the sport.
